When you are looking for a veterinary care hospital you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Providence Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in Mt. Juliet TN have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a new, state of the art, ultra modern veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient. Call 615-553-2221 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
Twice a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Dr. Aaron Hollis will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Providence Animal Hospital and Pet Resort for service.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our veterianry clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Hollis can still work with whatever information you have. We have an open door policy with your pet's visit. This means you can stay with your pet throughout the entire visit. If you would like to stay with your pet in our "action" room while we obtain vitals, weigh your pet, and collect blood/fecal samples, you are free to do so. We believe in allowing our owners to be as involved in their pet's visit as much as they like.
In some circumstances, Dr. Hollis will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Missed Appointment Policy
Missed appointments (no shows) are subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Please understand that the doctor's time is important, and this also makes it easier for other patients to schedule to see the doctor if you should decide to not make your appointment. Missed appointments cost a practice in three different ways — lost revenue (from the missed treatment), staff time (spent in making follow-up calls and rescheduling), and empty time (which could have been filled with another patient). This practice in the professional world affects customers because it results in increases for normal fees much like shoplifting does in the retail environment. If a client repeatedly misses or cancels appointments last minute, the hospital reserves the right to require thus said client to pay the examination fee prior to scheduling future appointments with the doctor. Thank you for your understanding and courtesy in advance.
Patient Arrival Policy
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. For your protection, and others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
Drop-off appointments may be arranged. A "drop off" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave them with us for a few hours. We understand you lead a busy life, and offer drop off services for anything from vaccines to an illness to accommodate your schedule. A drop off form must be completed to gather information about the pet's condition. We typically will ask you to drop off’ in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for your pet. Once the doctor is finished, he will telephone you to explain the diagnosis and to give you recommendations for care. For the protection of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
